Editing imported data

The previous step described how Basic Impormation Sheet files can be transferred to the server in the FQSD-exchange format as CSV-file.

All inspected and correct data-sets are now saved in the data-bank.
Should the plausibility-checks however have found mistakes (empty obligatory fields, invalid laboratory values, etc.) the data cannot be imported immediately and are temporarily stored for editing.

This short course shows how you can correct the detected mistakes yourself so that these data-sets can also be included in the data-bank.

As in the previous step, select "Data-transfer". In the next mask ("Importing data into the data-bank" click on the button "Edit".

These items are only available to system administrators.
If your main menu does not contain item "Data-transfer" you do not have the required authorization.

The following mask contains a list wioth the data-import jobs performed to date.
(A data-import job corresponds to a file sent to the server).

The figure below for example shows that 153 data-sets have been successfully imported while three data-sets are still incomplete or faulty.

By clicking the file-name you open that selected import-job.

  • Top-left: general information on this Import Job.
  • Top-right: Legend to the status of the individual data-sets.
  • Bottom: Datasets to be edited with status

To possibilities exist to edit data-sets:

  • Either click on the ID at the beginning of the data-set entry
(that selected data-set is opened for editing)
  • ot click on the button "beginn editing"
(Editing will be started with the first data-set)

Editing is performed in the standard data-entry mask.
The example shown in the figure below shows the page with the "Mark"-fields for studies.

An additional line at the top of the page shows the data-set status; Patient and sheet-data are correct and stored already. A mistake was detected in the Mark-field (two local studies were entered which were not defined for this centre).
The actual Error-description is listed next.

By clicking on "Finish" initiates a re-check and saving of the changed data.

The button "Next" takes you to the next data-set to be edited (without saving the changes!)

The "Overview" button brings you back to the previous mask with the list of data-sets top be edited.

When the editing process of a data-set is complete the following mask is shown:

When all ImportJobs have been completed the Overview-page will look as follows:
